Lenniedin - Adelaide Face Painting
Lorna has always enjoyed art, doodling away on bits of paper and painting on canvases. She started her career as a Legal Secretary, but then left to became a doting mother. While on maternity leave she discovered facepainting. Delving further into the craft she mastered this craft and was able to blend smoother, paint cleaner strokes and create her own designs. Refining and honing her skills lead to the creation of LennieDin – face and body paint artist. LennieDin comes from a childhood nickname which in later years became a social media handle. It was only fitting the name was to be adopted in business.
In recent years she has won multiple body paint and face paint awards, hosted a SALA (South Australian Living Artists) live body painting event, been an instructor for The Australian Body Art Awards in 2017 and is currently an instructor at WEA Adult Learning for facepainting classes.
There are many brands of face and body paints and many different types of glitter.
I only use FDA Approved cosmetic grade paints and glitter.
The face and body paints are water based, washing off with soap and water. The temporary tattoo paint is alcohol based making it sweat and water resistant. The tattoo paint lasts up to a week, but can also be washed off sooner with soap and water
We ensure all glitter is polyester, with no metal or glass and is completely safe for use on the skin. The adhesive used to apply the glitter onto the skin is hypoallergenic, containing no latex and can last up to 7 days. The glitter tattoos can be washed off with Isopropyl Alcohol or baby oil.
Face paint sponges are used only once per child, but please don't be offended if your child is turned away if they have a contagious or serious cold.
I have $20 million public liability and SA Government Working with Children Clearance.
